Charlene Kinbote is a doctoral student studying Romantic-era English poetry. During her graduate studies she has had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of composition courses in both public and private college environments; she is always on the lookout for fresh, innovative teaching techniques to share with other instructors. Charlene plans to write primarily on composition pedagogy in addition to contributing articles on higher education and the place of the humanities in the 21st century.
In addition to teaching, Charlene also works as a freelance copywriter. She lives in upstate New York with her cat Beatrice and an inordinately large number of books.
